Adding A Custom Default Avatar To WordPress
// January 11th, 2012 // No Comments » // Wordpress
WordPress provides some generic avatars that display when a commenter does not have their own personal avatar/gravatar. However they are not very exciting, and normally do not match your theme very well. It is possible to add your own custom avatar that displays when a user leaves a comment. Watch the video and visit the links below to learn how it is done!
Royalty Free Music

I received a couple of emails after I posted an article on how to use Audacity to edit audio files regarding using other peoples’ music in podcasts and other projects. I wanted to make sure that I was giving you the right information on the topic, so I did a little research and found a really great FREE online tutorial. This tutorial explains the concept of podsafe music (music you can use in your podcast) and copyrighted music (which you can’t use without permission).
I also share my favorite resource for Royalty Free Music.

Ever wonder where bloggers get those little pictures of themselves that seem to turn up no matter where they are blogging? They are called “AVATARS” and most of these come from what is becoming the universal site for them, Gravatars, or Globally Recognized Avatars. It is free to join and add your photo. Then when you use the corresponding email address while blogging/commenting on Gravatar-friendly websites, your picture will appear as well.
